Emotion of Shame and the Garden

Emotion of Shame and the Garden Adam and Eve were placed in the garden for communion with God. It was a warm beautiful bond. Adam reached for God without hesitation. They walked laughed talked and ate with God. Then Satan, the relationship destroyer showed up and enticed Eve. Then Eve and Adam pulled away from God. They broke their perfect bond with God. Shame filled their hearts and they hid their bodies. Shame drove them away from God. God saw the pain of their shame an He offered a repair for their shame. God offered his Son as the attachment injury repair to their emotion of shame. Shame and embarrassment causes us to move away from God and others, whereas love and mercy move us closer to God and others. Move into love and mercy for repairing your shame and embarrassment.
