Linda Goad opened True Vine in April 2019. It was her vision to offer a personable, warm, and inviting place for clients to receive counseling.

Linda’s approach to counseling is that of an attachment centered based approach using Emotionally Focused Therapy. Linda Goad is a Certified Emotionally Focused Couples therapist and has advanced training in Emotionally Focused Family Therapy. Emotionally focused therapy is experiential, attachment driven and emotion focused. Linda helps the couple, family, individual repair, share, and heal bonds.

Linda received her Master's degree in Mental Health Counseling from Marshall University. Linda works with troubled teens in the group home setting facilitating mental health groups. Linda has also worked for Marshall University as a tutor in the H.E.L.P. program working with students with Attention Deficit Hyperactive Disorder and other learning challenges. Linda has taught as a professor teaching Masters level courses. Her experience includes inpatient hospital counseling, outpatient therapy, and working with adolescents in the group home setting. Additionally, Linda Goad has worked with teens and adults in the drug court programs of Wayne and Cabell County facilitating drug cessation groups and counseling individuals with substance dependencies. Linda is trained and experienced in the 7 Challenges working with troubled youth at Stepping Stones.

Rachel is a licensed professional counselor dedicated to helping individuals, couples, and families learn how to manage and express their feelings. Her work is grounded in Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), an attachment-based, experiential model. Rachel uses EFT to help people recognize, understand, and change the patterns that keep them stuck.

Rachel firmly believes that emotion is the fastest and most reliable tool for lasting change. She is passionate about helping people gain a deeper understanding of their experiences. Rachel guides clients to uncover unmet needs, fears, and longings, helping them connect with themselves and others in ways they never thought possible.

Katlin is a Provisionally Licensed Professional Counselor and Certified School Counselor. Katlin earned her bachelor and master degrees from Marshall University and has over 10 years experience in the fields of counseling and education.

Katlin utilizes a Trauma-Informed approach. In her practice Katlin employs a variety of techniques and therapy models including; Emotionally Focused Individual Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Internal Family Systems, Solution-Focused Brief Counseling, Mindfulness, Motivational Interviewing, Play Therapy and Neurodiversity Affirming Therapy.

Katlin works with clients of all age groups and stages of life, including children as young as six years of age. Katlin is compassionate and responsive. She attunes to her clients’ needs and has a strong commitment to help her clients gain a sense of relief and empowerment. Hannah's commitment to the counseling profession stems from her dedication to supporting and nurturing individuals in need. She earned her bachelor’s degree in elementary education from Marshall University as well as her master’s in school counseling. As a certified school counselor with six years of experience in educational settings, she strives to create an empowering environment where clients can leverage their inherent strengths and available resources. Embracing a client-centered therapy approach, Hannah values genuineness, unconditional positive regard, and empathy as fundamental to effective therapeutic relationships. She integrates principles from the Internal Family Systems and Solution-Focused Brief Therapy models into her practice. Beyond her professional endeavors, Hannah finds fulfillment in spending time with her family and husband, as well as engaging in leisure activities such as meeting friends for coffee, reading, and relaxing with her cat.

Caylin Bradshaw France

Caylin is a Provisionally Licensed Professional Counselor and Student Success Specialist with the TRIO program Student Support Services at Marshall University. Caylin earned her Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology and her Master’s degree in Mental Health Counseling from Marshall University. Caylin has over 7 years of experience working in the fields of higher education and counseling.

 

In her practice Caylin uses a variety of techniques and therapy models including but not limited to; Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Emotionally Focused Individual Therapy, Solution-Focused Brief Therapy, and Mindfulness.
