Linda Goad opened True Vine in April 2019. It was her vision to offer a personable, warm, and inviting place for clients to receive counseling.

Linda’s approach to counseling is that of an attachment centered based approach using Emotionally Focused Therapy. Linda Goad is a Certified Emotionally Focused Couples therapist and has advanced training in Emotionally Focused Family Therapy. Emotionally focused therapy is experiential, attachment driven and emotion focused. Linda helps the couple, family, individual repair, share, and heal bonds.

Linda received her Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from Marshall University and her Master's degree in Mental Health Counseling from Marshall University. Linda works with troubled teens in the group home setting facilitating mental health groups. Linda has also worked for Marshall University as a tutor in the H.E.L.P. program working with students with Attention Deficit Hyperactive Disorder and other learning challenges. Linda has taught as an adjunct professor teaching course work in Stress Management. Her experience includes inpatient hospital counseling, outpatient therapy, and working with adolescents in the group home setting. Additionally, Linda Goad has worked with teens and adults in the drug court programs of Wayne and Cabell County facilitating drug cessation groups and counseling individuals with substance dependencies. Linda is trained and experienced in the 7 Challenges working with troubled youth at Stepping Stones.

Rachel Baldrige-Bush

Emotionally Focused Therapist

Rachel works with a variety of clients, from age six to adulthood. She counsels children and adolescents struggling with self-esteem, peer relationships, emotion-regulation, parent divorce, and adjusting to new family dynamics. Rachel helps teens and adults reduce symptoms of anxiety and depression. She also assists couples and families experiencing relationship issues. 

Rachel uses her training in Emotionally Focused Therapy to help individuals, couples, and families learn how to be more comfortable with emotions. She believes a strong bond with a safe and supportive person is one of the best coping mechanisms life can offer. In session, Rachel helps her clients explore and work through pain, heart-ache, and emotional wounds. She is honored help others become the best version of themselves.

Outside of her work as a therapist, Rachel loves spending time with her husband. They enjoy cooking, learning new things, and going on hikes together.

Katlin feels called to serve by providing counseling to help others and she believes that with her training and empathy driven from experience she can be a light to others and make a therapeutic impact. Katlin's approach to therapy is is Person-Centered and she feels the therapeutic alliance between the counselor and client is the essential foundation to effective therapy. The main theoretical frameworks she uses are Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Solution-Focused Brief Therapy, Reality Therapy, Rational-Emotive Behavioral Therapy and Emotionally Focused Therapy.


In her free time Katlin enjoys spending time with her family and friends, listening to podcasts and audiobooks, binge-watching shows, browsing for antiques, doing yoga and exercising.

Katlin Christian-Webb has been happily married for over a decade and is the mom to two young boys, three dogs and a cat. She grew up in Eastern Kentucky and Southern West Virginia and has chosen to move back home to raise her boys and be closer to her family. She earned her bachelor and masters degrees from Marshall University.
She has been trained in both mental health and school counseling. During Katlin's professional career she has worked solely in the helping profession. She has worked as a counselor in mental health, higher education and the public school system. Along with working at True Vine, Katlin also currently works as a high school counselor at a local high school.
